Welcome to the Intermediate Art Class!

Intermediate Classes (11-14 years old) - 1.25 hour class

This course is designed to teach art concepts through a variety of two- and three-dimensional projects. Introduction to the elements of art and principles of design, both technical and conceptual skills will be developed. Drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media projects will be created in a comfortable, exploratory environment. Projects are designed to be cumulative, building competence and confidence over time.

There are two options for this year long Intermediate Art Class:

Wednesdays from 12:00pm-1:15pm  

First Semester Fall 2025:

August 27

September 3, 10, 17

October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

November 5, 12, 19

December 3, 10      


Second Semester Spring 2026: 

January 7, 14, 21, 28

February 4, 11, 25

March 4, 11, 18, 25

April 1, 15, 22 

     

Thursdays from 10:15am-11:30am  

First Semester Fall 2025:

August 28

September 4, 11, 18

October 2, 9, 14, 23, 30

November 4, 13, 20

December 4, 11 


Second Semester Spring 2026: 

January 8, 15, 22, 29

February 5, 12, 26

March 5, 12, 19, 26

April 2, 16, 23 


Class consists of two semesters of 14 classes each (28 total for the year). 

Location

Classes will meet at my home studio located at 2656 Jims Rd., Marietta, Georgia 30066. Students can be dropped off at the front door in the driveway.  Parents are welcome anytime, but drop-off is preferable.  Please come check out the studio on the first day.
